How to Find Your Shaft Length:

Having the right EPropulsion electric outboard motor for your vessel is a must. Just remember, EPropulsion measures their shafts differently than gas-powered motors. Their measurement is taken from the top of the clamp bracket to the propeller's center, whereas gas-powered engines measure from the top of the mount to the anti-ventilation plate.

For boats with a transom height higher than 50 cm / 19.7 inches, a long shaft version is more suitable. For daysailers, sports boats, and other sailing boats it’s best to measure the distance from the water line to the top of your outboard mount.
